FROM THE SHORE TO THE HELLFIRE: LORNA SHORE IGNITES MYRTLE BEACH
House of Blues Myrtle Beach erupted on May 12th as one of the most anticipated heavy tours of the year rolled through South Carolina featuring Signs of the Swarm, Paleface Swiss, and Lorna Shore. With nonstop crowd energy, crushing performances, and one of the wildest pits the venue has seen in recent memory, the night became an unforgettable experience for everyone packed inside the building. Unfortunately we weren't doing photography for this show, so we have to settle for phone shots this time.
Opening the night, Signs of the Swarm wasted no time setting the tone with a relentless performance that immediately threw the crowd into motion. The energy inside the venue escalated quickly as the pit opened early and the atmosphere shifted into complete chaos before the headliners had even taken the stage.
Paleface Swiss followed with one of the most talked-about sets of the night during their first-ever performance at House of Blues Myrtle Beach. Many fans had specifically been looking forward to seeing the band live, and they delivered far beyond expectations. Their aggressive stage presence, crushing sound, and nonstop crowd interaction turned the venue into a wall of movement as crowd surfers poured over the barricade and the pit exploded from front to back.
By the time Lorna Shore took the stage, the crowd energy had reached another level entirely. Opening with “Oblivion” before playing hits like “In Darkness,” the band instantly commanded the room as fans screamed every word back toward the stage. Throughout the entire performance, circle pits, crowd surfers, and nonstop moshing transformed House of Blues into pure controlled chaos.
One of the most emotional moments of the night came during “Glenwood,” which visibly moved the crowd and shifted the atmosphere before the band launched back into heavier material. Later, the performance of “Pain Remains I, II, and III” created one of the most intense moments of the evening as the pit continued to erupt while emotions ran high across the venue.
Despite the chaos, one thing stood out clearly throughout the night — the sense of unity within the crowd. Fans constantly looked out for one another, immediately helping people back to their feet after falls, clearing paths for anyone needing to escape the pit, and even stopping to help locate lost phones, shoes, jewelry, and other belongings scattered throughout the venue during the madness.

At one point during the set, a crowd surfer crashed directly into the pit, sending multiple people to the ground, but within seconds the surrounding crowd had everyone back on their feet before diving right back into the energy of the show.
After closing with “Pain Remains,” Lorna Shore briefly exited the stage, but the crowd refused to let the night end. Chants for the band echoed throughout the venue until they finally returned for an encore performance of “To The Hellfire,” sending the entire room into one final eruption.

Frontman Will Ramos controlled the crowd effortlessly from start to finish while delivering an incredible vocal performance that never lost intensity for a single moment. Combined with the band’s overwhelming energy and the crowd’s nonstop passion, the night became far more than just another concert — it became one of the most unforgettable live music experiences imaginable.
For anyone considering catching this tour before it ends, this lineup is absolutely worth experiencing live. Between the crushing intensity of Signs of the Swarm, the explosive energy of Paleface Swiss, and the unforgettable performance delivered by Lorna Shore, the night proved exactly why heavy music continues to thrive through the connection between bands and the communities that support them.
